Kern County Fire crews were able to contain a fire that erupted in Stallion Springs early Friday morning.

The blaze, called the Gun Fire, erupted at the intersection of High Gun Drive and High Gun Court. 

The fire covered 18 acres. 

KCFD's helicopter made 30 water drops to help fight the fire. 

No buildings were damaged.
