The Kern County Fire Department battled a structure fire Tuesday evening, saving millions of dollars in possible damages.

KCFD got calls about a commercial building fire around 6 p.m. Tuesday. Crews responded to East Brundage Lane, near Fairfax Road.

Crews quickly put out the blaze.

According to county fire, it saved around $6 million in possible damages to the building and equipment.
