BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking the community to safely dispose of its used or expired medication.
The following locations in Kern County are accepting prescriptions and OTC medications Saturday October 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Bakersfield Headquarters: 1350 Norris Road
- Lamont Substation: 12022 Main Street
- Mojave Substation: 1771 Highway 58
- Wasco Substation: 748 F Street
Officials said liquids must be properly sealed and they will not accept syringes and illicit drugs.
