KERN COUNTY, Calif. — Kern County Sheriff’s Office announced the passing of Deputy Martin Rodriguez on July 9.

Deputy Rodriguez suffered an unknown medical condition at home and was taken to Tehachapi Hospital where he later passed, he was 43-years-old.

Deputy Rodriguez was hired as a Deputy Sheriff on January 17, and his most recent assignment was to the Sheriff’s Office Transportation Unit.

Funeral services are pending.
