The Kern County Sheriff's Office has arrested five juveniles in connection to a string of robberies throughout east Bakersfield.

On Saturday at roughly 6 a.m., deputies from Metro Patrol of KCSO began investigating a robbery in east Bakersfield. During the investigation, investigators arrested five juveniles, all under the age of 15 years old.

The juveniles were also identified in a string of robberies in east Bakersfield overnight, occurring in both the City and County jurisdictions. It's unknown where the robberies took place. The suspects were booked into Juvenile Hall on numerous felonies.

The investigation is ongoing.
