WASCO, Calif. — Officials have made arrests in connection to an alleged home invasion robbery in Wasco.
According to deputies from the Wasco City Substation, a search warrant was served for the alleged crime that happened on September 4 in the area of 3700 7th Street. Deputies said four men, three armed with tactical rifles and one with a handgun, forced their way into a residence and bound the residents before leaving with cash and property in an unknown car, according to officials.
During a search of the house, officials reportedly found stolen property related to the robbery -- along with guns.
Officials arrested 24-year-old Jose Sanchez, 20-year-old Leonardo Sanchez, and 20-year-old Anna Salazar from Bakersfield. All suspects were charged with Robbery, Maintaining a Drug House, Conspiracy, Marijuana Sales, and Receiving/Possession of Stolen Property.
The investigation is ongoing.
