KCSO conducts search warrants at three marijuana dispensaries in East Bakersfield

A total of 38.5 pounds of processed marijuana, 776.9 grams of marijuana concentrates, 351 packages of edibles, one operable firearm, over $4,000 in currency and one fully functional commercial grade Butane Honey Oil Lab and a small amount of suspected cocaine was found during three seizures at marijuana dispensaries on Niles Street.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit executed search warrants at the marijuana dispensaries in East Bakersfield and arrested 7 individuals.

Marcus Rede, 34, Steven Zepeda, 31 and Rey Armendariz-Gonzalez, 39, were arrested for a misdemeanor violation of marijuana sales and a misdemeanor county ordinance violation.

Miguel Valuera Jr., 21, and Eduardo Vargas, 19, were arrested and booked for a felony violation, maintaining a business for the purposes of marijuana sales, felony conspiracy, felony manufacturing a controlled substance, misdemeanor sales of marijuana and a misdemeanor county ordinance violation.

Basicio Bravo, 18, was arrested and booked for a felony violation maintaining a business for the purpose of marijuana sales, felony conspiracy, felony manufacturing a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a controlled drug, misdemeanor sales of marijuana and a misdemeanor county ordinance violation.

Mario Flores, 55, was arrested and booked for a felony violation maintaining a business for the purposes of marijuana sales, misdemeanor sales of marijuana and a misdemeanor county ordinance violation.
