BORON, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's has announced an arrest in an attempted murder that happened in Boron.
According to officials, on Monday around 11:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a house four miles north of the Borax Mine. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from major injuries. Officials said he is expected to survive.
Deputies arrested 30-year-old Benjamin Yesk for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
