KERN COUNTY, Calif. — On Monday, The Kern County Sheriff's Office shared a photo on Facebook featuring two of its deputies working the fair. But, according to the post, back in 2015 Deputy Alvarez and Deputy Galvan were helping Bakersfield College score touchdowns on the football field.

Deputy Galvan, number 82, was the starting kicker for BC and Deputy Alvarez was his coach. Now, the two are helping keep the fairgrounds safe this week!
