BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — KCSO officials have confirmed with 23ABC that they're investigating an attempted kidnapping in Northwest Bakersfield.
According to officials they were called out to a motel in the area of Olive Tree Court and Knudsen Drive at around 10:58 a.m. on Thursday for a report of a kidnapping. A man reportedly tried to force a woman in her 20's into a car but she was able to fight the man off and get away.
KCSO said that the woman escaped "relatively" unharmed.
Officials are currently looking for one male suspect involved in the incident.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of a possible kidnapping at an Oildale restaurant Thursday morning.
KCSO confirms to 23ABC News they received a report of a kidnapping at Hodel's Country Dining on Knudsen Drive and that deputies are currently investigating the report.
