BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of 8500 Lone Butte Road in Mojave on Thursday for reports of a deceased subject.
Upon arriving to the scene, they located human remains and homicide detectives were called to the scene to take over the investigation.
