Thirty Kern County Sheriff's deputies volunteered their time and money to take local kids Christmas shopping.
Children from Wasco, Delano, Bakersfield and Kern River were paired with the men of women of KCSO before shopping at Southwest Walmart in Bakersfield.
The children were selected by representatives of the Kern County Sheriff's Activity League.
The kids ages ranged from five to 10-years-old.
