KCSO said September 15, other deputies noticed Deputy Lewis White appeared to display symptoms of recent drug use. Narcotics detectives determined White was under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested.

White was booked into the Central Receiving Facility for violations of two Heath and Safety Codes including being under the influence of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm.
White has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal and administrative internal investigation.
