On December 14, 2016, around 10:30 a.m., Kern County Sheriff's deputies from the Wasco Substation were conducting routine bike patrol in the Downtown Business District and local parks when they discovered 36-year-old Jose Guitron from Lost Hills, Calif., in Barker Park.

A records check revealed Guitron had an outstanding Parolee at Large no bail warrant from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Parolee at Large means they have been released from prison but didn't check in with their parole officer.

Guitron was arrested without incident and transported to the Central Receiving Facility where he was booked.
