BAKERSFILED, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office Detectives are investigating the death of a baby Sunday morning.
According to KCSO, at around 5:30 a.m. deputies responded to the 1500 block of Pearl Street near Haley Street for a baby not breathing. The baby was then transported to a local area hospital where it was pronounced dead.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
