Deputies with the Kern County Sheriff's Office arrested a 40-year-old man after serving a search warrant in Oildale. 

Officials said they went to the house around 7 p.m. and severed the search warrant in the 500 block of Wisteria St. near E. Bella Ave.

During a search of the residence, deputies located and seized one half pound of suspected methamphetamine, five firearms, body armor, and about $2,700 in cash.

Buckey Dean Holder was arrested and booked into the Central Receiving Facility for narcotics and firearms related offenses.
