BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The big rig driver found dead inside his truck on the I-5 Thursday morning has been identified by the Kern County Sheriff's Office as 51-year-old Michael Jean Forgues.
Fourgues was found around 8:30 a.m. Thursday by the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said when they arrived at the scene, Fourgues was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death is still unknown pending an autopsy by the coroner.
