BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office has identified the driver who died in a crash on Highway 99 Sunday as 38-year-old Louie Anthony Hernandez.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m. Sunday when the vehicle reportedly collided with a tree near the 99 by Lerdo Highway.
Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.
