The Kern County Sheriff's Office has identified the woman who was killed in a single-car accident early Sunday morning.

Erica Contreras, 23, was killed when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed on Comanche Drive just north of Highway 223 in Arvin at around 4:00 a.m. She died at the scene from her injuries.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
