KCSO identifys suspects in burglary near Tracy Avenue in Buttonwillow

On August 28, 2017 at about 1:35 A.M., Kern County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at Castro Tire Service located in the 20600 block of Tracy Avenue in Buttonwillow, California.

Deputies quickly arrived and identified a suspect vehicle leaving the scene. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of Rowlee Road north of Seventh Standard Road. The vehicle occupants were Bakersfield residents TANNER TOWLE (24), BRIAN DEAN (40), and STUART MARTIN (51).
 
During the investigation, deputies discovered Castro Tire Service was forcibly entered and over $4,000 worth of tires were taken from inside the business.
 
Towle, Dean, and Martin were arrested on suspicion of burglary, vandalism, possession of burglary tools, and conspiracy. Dean was also charged with being in possession of a controlled substance. All three suspects were booked into the Central Receiving Facility.
 
The stolen tires were recovered near the business and returned to the owner.
