The Kern County Sheriff's Office is on scene of a deadly stabbing in Oildale. 

Deputies were called out just before 9:00 p.m. to El Tejon where they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. 

The man was transported to a local hospital where he later died. 

Deputies say they have a person of interest.
