The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man in a bulletproof vest was seen knocking on doors in northwest Bakersfield on Saturday morning.
KCSO says a Hispanic man in his mid-30's wearing a light colored baseball cap, a white bulletproof vest and gray pants was seen in the area of Calloway and Norris Road around 12:15 a.m. knocking on doors.
It's unknown if the subject was armed, but due to what he was wearing KCSO is wanting the public to be aware.
The subject's picture was captured on surveillance cameras. He was seen leaving the area in a light-colored blue sedan.
