BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a 3-month-old boy.
According to KCSO, on Thursday, March 28, 3-month-old Lio Vargas was found unresponsive in the 6900 block of Avenida Del Sol in Southeast Bakersfield. He was transported by ambulance to Kern Medical where he died.
KCSO says a postmortem examination was conducted and the cause of death was pending further studies.
