The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating the drowning death of a 1-year-old girl.
According to KCSO, the girl was found in a pool around 7:45 Thursday night at a home off Rosedale Highway down from Verdugo Lane.
KCSO tells 23ABC that when deputies arrived, the family was performing CPR on the child. The girl was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
