BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing that happened in East Bakersfield Tuesday.
According to officials, around 11:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a victim of a stabbing on Pioneer Drive. When deputies arrived they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital with moderate to major injuries.
KCSO said the suspect has been identified as a black man, medium-build in stature, wearing a black baseball cap and a grey button-up shirt. He reportedly fled the scene in a grey Dodge Ram pickup truck.
