BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating an assault in Northwest Bakersfield Sunday night.
According to KCSO, deputies responded to reports of an assault with a hammer and knife at 5100 Laura Court, near Coffee and Hageman roads at about 9:25 p.m.
Deputies located two victims that were struck with a hammer. They are being treated for minor injuries.
Another victim with possible stab wounds may be on the way to the hospital, KCSO confirmed.
There may be more than one suspect in the area.
