The Kern County Sheriff's office is investigating a homicide that took place on Tuesday in Rosamond.
Deputies responded to a call about a victim of a shooting off of 15th West Street at around 5:29 p.m.
When deputies arrived they located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
