The Kern County Sheriffs Department is investigating a shooting in Lamont.

The shots rang out on Panama Road and Velma Avenue just before 9 p.m. tonight. 

KCSO says there is at least one possible victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.

It is unknown at this time if any suspects are in custody or if there are other possible victims.
