The Kern County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting in Lamont. 

Officials say the shooting happened in the 8400 block of Lana Street where one juvenile boy was injured.

The victim was transported to Kern Medical for minor injuries. 

There are no suspects in custody at this time.
