BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Coventry Drive and Villalovos Ct.

BPD reported they found one man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim has since then been transported to the area hospital.

This investigation is ongoing.
