LAMONT, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Department is investigating a stabbing that happened in Lamont in the early hours of New Year's Day.
According to KCSO, around 1:27 a.m. on January 1, deputies were dispatched to the 8900 block of Hall Road for an assault with a deadly weapon. When deputies arrived, they found a Hispanic male with apparent stab wounds to his upper body. He was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
So far there have been no arrests. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110.
