INYOKERN, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's office is calling a death in Inyokern "suspicious."

According to KCSO, deputies responded to the area of Orchard Avenue in Inyokern for a death investigation.

KCSO says it's being called suspicious due to the "nature in which the decedent was located."

Homicide detectives were called to the scene and have taken over the investigation.

The victim has not yet been identified.
