On December 23rd, 17-year-old Jon Paul Barriente ran away from home and has not been seen since, Kern County Sheriff officials said.

KCSO officials say that due to this being a first time runaway, Barriente is listed as "at risk." Barriente was last seen in the 18200 block of Thomas Lane in Shafter.

Barriente is described as an Asian Male, six feet tall and weighing 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt, black shorts and white shoes.
