KCSO: man arrested for stabbing a man in Lost Hills

On November 7, 2016 at about 6:00 pm, Kern County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 17000 block of Blackwell Village Drive near Lost Hills regarding a stabbing. While deputies were in route they were advised the suspect, 20 year old Carlos Anaya, was attempting to leave the area in a white SUV.


As deputies arrived on scene they observed the white SUV leaving and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which had been reported stolen. Deputies stopped the vehicle and detained Anaya without incident. The victim, 38 year old Isaac Gutierrez, was airlifted to Kern Medical Center with non-life threatening stab wounds.

Anaya was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and vehicle theft. He was booked into the Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility. His bail has been set at $35,000.
