On 1-13-16 at 1136 hours, deputies were sent to 1029 Knotts Street to the report of shots being fired. Upon their arrival, they found a 34-year-old Hispanic male suffering from gunshot wounds.
Fire and medical personnel arrived and drove the victim to Kern Medical for treatment.
The victim later died from his injuries at the hospital.
