BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was shot in the leg in East Bakersfield.
According to KCSO, around 11:16 p.m. on April 10, deputies responded to the 700 block of Knotts Street in East Bakersfield regarding the victim of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found a 30-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. KCSO says the victim's injuries were non-life threatening.
KCSO says witnesses heard multiple gunshots. KCSO also says deputies located shell casings.
KCSO says the suspect was driving a silver or gray four-door vehicle, possibly a Nissan Altima.
