BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office seized more than 11,000 marijuana plants during a search warrant on May 2.
KCSO served the warrant at five separate locations on a 78 acre property south of Highway 46. During the search, deputies located four firearms, including two shotguns and two rifles.
As a result, Jose Luis Naranjo Soto, 36 and Marcelo Flores, 52, were arrested for various charges including conspiracy to maintain a residence to sell narcotics, as well as cultivation of marijuana.
