BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — KCSO is responding to a stabbing in Oildale where the victim is reportedly suffering from minor to moderate injuries.

Officials say they were initially called out to the area of 1100 McKinley Avenue around 9:10pm for a possible shooting. When deputies arrived on the scene they discovered a white male in his early 30's with minor to moderate chest and arm stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital.

Further investigation revealed that a possible fight between two men led to the victim stabbed. Witnesses say that one of the men reportedly fired a round.

Although officials did find bullet casings there were no wounds found on the victim.
