The Kern County Sheriff's Office is on scene of a shooting in East Bakersfield.
It happened just after 3:20 a.m. on Kentucky Street, near Mount Vernon Avenue.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds.
KCSO says the man was walking in the area when he was approached by a dark colored SUV, and several shots were fired. The man's injuries are unknown.
KCSO has no suspect information at this time.
