BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A man has died following a deadly stabbing on Lomita Drive Monday morning.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, on Monday around 8:15 a.m., Metropolitan Patrol Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Lomita Drive. When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from trauma to his upper body. He was transported to local area hospital where he died.

Homicide Detectives were called to the scene and the investigation is still ongoing. Officials have not reported any arrests.
