Kern County Sheriff officials said they have found possible human remains in the 4100 block of Fiddleneck Street in South Lake Saturday afternoon.

Sheriff official Ray Pruitt said cadaveor dogs will go from house to house Sunday searching for more remains.

Arson and homicide detectives are on scene trying to determine if the remains are in fact human. Officials said they will treat this as a homicide investigation for now.
