BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit is requesting community assistance in a murder investigation from July 2016.
According to investigators, 18-year-old Dejon Nellium was shot and killed in the area of 2000 South J Street in Bakersfield. At the time, the homicide unit began an investigation and while leads have been investigated, no arrests have been made for the murder.
