The Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting in northeast Bakersfield around 10:00 p.m.
KCSO confirms the reported shots fired were at the 7-Eleven on the corner of River Blvd. and Columbus St.
Officials said it was an armed robbery that ended with the clerk shot.
Officials said the clerk was shot in the upper arm and was listed in serious condition, but was stabilized.
The clerk was taken to a nearby hospital.

Officials said they're looking for two Hispanic men in their early 20s, 5'7", 150 pounds.
Suspect 1 is described as wearing a black shirt, gray shorts with short black hair.
Suspect 2 is described as wearing a blue sweater, black bandana over their face and black shorts.
