The Kern County Sheriff’s office issued an alert that landline telephones are not working in the Kern Valley area. KCSO says Frontier Communications is working to restore the services. If you need police, fire or medical services please call 911 or the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or 800-861-3110 from your cellphone.
