Kern County Sheriff's Office deputies are currently looking for a man after they said he ran away from a traffic stop in Oildale Tuesday night.

Deputies were conducting a traffic stop just before 9 p.m Tuesday on Norris Road near Airport Drive.

When deputies  pulled over the car both the man and woman inside immediately took off, jumping fences through people's backyards.

The woman was eventually caught but the man got away.

She was arrested and now faces a resisting arrest charge.
