Kern County Sheriff's officials released the following statement:
On September 6th, 2015 at about 10:30 am, the suspect entered Pep Boys at 4014 Niles Street in east Bakersfield and stole several items.
The suspect was followed out of the store by a Pep Boys employee and seen getting into the passenger side of a recently reported stolen vehicle, which fled west on Niles Street.
The suspect is described as a: White or Hispanic, female, has brown hair, and was wearing glasses.
The stolen vehicle, a blue 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage, has not been recovered as of September 30th. The suspect is also wanted for questioning in the theft of the vehicle.
