Kern County Sheriff officials say a man was arrested and was transported in an ambulance in Oildale Friday afternoon.
According to KCSO, at around 3:00 p.m., a patrol sergeant was flagged down near Manor and Day Street by an individual that said a family member had made some threats.
KCSO deputies immediately responded to the 500 block of Arvin Street where the suspect was taken into custody.
Officials say 29-year-old Alejandro Oliveras was first seen on the front porch before going into the house.
Although the swat team was called, KCSO's K-9 unit was able to apprehend Oliveras after he had tried to get in a car and back out of the driveway.
Sheriff’s say the only injuries that occurred during this were from the k-9 unit detaining Oliveras.
Oliveras is now facing charges of making terrorist threats, resisting and delaying an investigation and public intoxication.
