A postmortem examination was performed and the cause and manner of death are pending further studies.

KCSO is investigating a suspicious death that took place in Caliente, where a 82-year-old man was found deceased near 28099 J Street.
According to officials, Gary Griffen Allen was found dead just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 with unexplained trauma to his body. A postmortem examination will be performed to determine the cause and manner of his death.
