KERN COUNTY, Calif. — Kern County has started accepting applications for the position of deputy sheriff trainee this week.

Applications are due August 28.

You can apply for the position of deputy sheriff trainee if you have taken the Pellet B within the last six months and obtained a score of 42 and higher.
