The Kern County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man they say stole a cash register from a taco shop in South Bakersfield on Tuesday morning. 

According to KCSO, deputies were dispatched to the Tacos La Villa on South Union just down from Ming Avenue at about 4:15 a.m.

Deputies say a masked man entered Tacos La Villa and stole the cash register before driving off. 

However, the cash register was empty. 

No one was hurt during the theft.
